Online Exhibition | New CLAY Works by TRACY KEITH | Ceramic Contemporary Artist

McCarthy Gallery is thrilled to introduce TRACY KEITH to the Australian art arena. An aspiring ceramic contemporary artist specializing in 'raku' clay manipulates his creations by stretching, pushing, and moulding, blending organic sensibility with shapes and accents that sometimes echo machinery.

Keith's creations seem to capture the robust industrial roots of the old towns. The rough aesthetic of his works mirrors the strain and intensity associated with factory work and life within his locales.

Numerous vessels bear the marks of the firing process, cracks, and fissures, symbolizing the 'breaks' Keith speaks of — the separation many families endured from their ancestral homes to pursue employment elsewhere.

An exclusive preview offer is currently available until August 31, 2024, at 5 p.m., and is only to our registered art collectors. Sign up today.
